उन आँखों का हँसना भी क्या जिन आँखों में पानी न हो वो जवानी जवानी नहीं जिसकी कोई कहानी न हो...... जन्मदिवस (27 जून)/ सदाबहार पार्श्वगायक नितिन मुकेश 27 जून 1950 को पैदा हुए युवा दिलों के गायक नितिन मुकेश महान पार्श्वगायक मुकेश जी के पुत्र हैं। सन् 1970 से 2000 तक गायिकी के क्षेत्र में सक्रीय रहने वालें नितिन मुकेश ने अपने 3 दशक के फ़िल्मी कैरियर में बहुत कम गीत गायें हैं। लेकिन जितना भी गीत अपनी खनकती आवाज़ में गाया सभी उस दौर से लगाय आज भी श्रोताओं को पसंद आता है। और इनके गीतों को सुनने के बाद वह जुबां पर भी चढ़ जाता है। नितिन मुकेश साहब ने लक्ष्मीकांत-प्यारेलाल, ख़य्याम, बप्पी लहरी, राजेश रौशन, नदीम-श्रवण और आनंद मिलिंद जैसे दिग्गज संगीतकरों के साथ काम किया। मनोज कुमार और अनिल कपूर के ऊपर फिल्माया गया इनका गीत काफी लोकप्रिय भी रहा है। क्रांति, त्रिशूल, तेज़ाब, नूरी, चांदनी, जैसी करनी वैसी भरनी, राम लखन, किंग अंकल, मेरी जंग, बेवफ़ा सनम, काला बाजार और आईना' फ़िल्म के लिये गाये गए गीत इनकी गायिकी प्रतिभा के हस्ताक्षर हैं। इनके द्वारा गाये गए सुपरहिट्स गीतों में 'गपुची गपुची गमगम, चना जोर गरम, आजा रे ओ मेरे दिलबर आजा, ज़िन्दगी की न टूटे लड़ी, जाते हो परदेश पिया, ज़िन्दगी हर क़दम एक नयी जंग हैं, माई नेम इज़ लखन, जैसी करनी वैसी भरनी, मेरे ख्याल से तुम, याद तुम्हारी जब जब आये, चाँद की साईकिल सोने की सीट, दिल ने दिल से क्या कहा, पैसा बोलता है, वफ़ा ना रास आयी, इस जहाँ की नहीं है तुम्हारी आँखें' आदि गाने शामिल हैं। इसके अलावा नितिन मुकेश ने कई प्रसिद्ध भजनों को भी आवाज दिया है। सुप्रसिद्ध पार्श्वगायक को उनके गाये और मेरे पसंदीदा गीत की कुछ पंक्तियों के साथ जन्मदिवस की शुभकामनाएँ ! It was her birthday on 7th June. Though a little late, here’s wishing her a very Happy Birthday!!! Her real name was Khurshid Akhtar. was born in Lahore,(now in Pakistan) British India on 7 June, 1935 . Shyama, her screen name, was given to her by Guru Dutt. Her best known roles were in Aar Paar (1954), Barsaat Ki Raat (1960) and Tarana. She was also noticed in 'Sawan Bhadon', 'Dil Diya Dard Liya', 'Milan' and 'Sharda' for which she was awarded Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.Director Vijay Bhatt gave her the stage name Shyama by which she is credited in her movies. She had starring roles in Guru Dutt's classic Aar Paar and later in Barsaat Ki Raat which was perhaps her best performance. She was a major star in the 1950s and 60s and acted in more than 200 movies, many in starring roles. She was married to cinematographer, Fali Mistry in 1953, and the couple had two sons, Farooq and Rohin, and a daughter Shireen. Mistry died in 1979, thereafter she continued to stay in Mumbai.Today, her son Zubin Mistry is also a cinematographer based in London.
Nargis Dutt, born Fatima Rashid but known by her screen name, Nargis, was an film actress. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest actresses in the history of Hindi cinema. Born 01 June 1929 )She made her screen debut as a child in Talash-E-Haq in 1935, but her acting career began in 1942 with Tamanna. During a career that spanned from the 1940s to the 60s, Nargis appeared in numerous commercially successful as well as critically appreciated films, many of which featured her alongside actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor.One of her best-known roles was that of Radha in the Academy Award-nominated Mother India (1957), a performance that won her Best Actress trophy at the Filmfare Awards. In 1958, Nargis married her Mother India co-star, actor Sunil Dutt, and left the film industry. She would appear infrequently in films during the 60s. Some of her films of this period include the drama Raat Aur Din (1967), for which she got the inaugural National Film Award for Best Actress.Along with her husband, Nargis formed the Ajanta Arts Cultural Troupe, which roped in several leading actors and singers of the time and held stage shows at border areas.In early 1970s, she became the first patron of Spastics Society of India, and her subsequent work with the organisation brought her recognition as a social worker, and later a Rajya Sabha nomination in 1980.Nargis died in 1981 of pancreatic cancer, a few days before her son Sanjay Dutt made his film debut in Bollywood.
